How the directory works
What we list, how results are ranked, where ratings come from, and the rules specific to some activities.
Which businesses are listed?
The directory shows the locations of Partoo's client companies, which manage their listings (hours, contact details, photos) with Partoo, so it is not exhaustive. Partoo is paid by these companies for its online presence services; no business pays to rank higher in the results.
How are results ranked?
In a category, businesses whose main activity it is come first. They are then ranked by their Google rating weighted by the number of reviews, then by whether they have photos and a description; locations of the same brand are spread out. Near you or on the map, results are ranked by distance. Filters (open now, rating, brand, area) only narrow the list.
Where do ratings come from?
Ratings and review counts are those published on Google for each business. Partoo does not collect, publish or moderate reviews on this directory, and does not check that reviews come from people who visited the business.
Regulated activities
Health professions: titles such as doctor, dentist, midwife, psychologist, psychotherapist, osteopath or chiropractor are protected. Each category only holds the profession it names, and health professionals are listed alphabetically, without ratings or reviews: their professional rules rule out testimonials and comparisons between practitioners.
Wellness and alternative practices (naturopathy, reflexology, hypnosis, Reiki…) are listed separately, outside Health. They are not regulated health professions and do not replace a medical diagnosis or treatment.
Tobacco, vaping, cannabis (CBD), gambling and cosmetic surgery: advertising for these activities is banned or restricted. Their businesses are shown for information only (address, hours, contact), without photos, logo or rating, and their pages are not offered to search engines.
